What information we collect
What we hold depends on how you deal with us.
When you fill in our contact or quote form, call us, email us or message us on WhatsApp, we may collect:
- your name or company name
- your phone number and email address
- your home or company address and postcode
- the address and postcode of the project
- details about the job, such as floor area, thickness required, type of screed, whether you need underfloor heating, and any comments or photos you send us
- anything else you choose to tell us in your message
When you become a customer, we also keep quotations, orders, job records, invoices, payment records and any correspondence about the work.
When you simply browse our website, we may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit and how long you stay. Some of this is collected using cookies. You can read more in our Cookie Policy.
We do not knowingly collect any special category data (such as health or political information) and we ask that you do not send us any.
How we use your information and why

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for automated decision making or profiling.
Who we share your information with
We only share your information where it is needed to do our job, and only with people who have a good reason to see it. That may include:
- our website host, IT and email providers
- our accountants, bookkeepers and payment providers
- suppliers and subcontractors, where they need details to deliver materials or attend site
- our insurers and professional advisers, if a claim or dispute arises
- analytics providers, such as Google, where you have allowed analytics cookies
- HMRC, the police, courts or other authorities, where the law requires it
If our business were ever sold or restructured, your information may be passed to the new owner, who would have to keep using it in line with this policy.
Sending information outside the UK
Some of our providers, such as Google, may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Extension to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep your information
- Enquiries that do not go ahead: up to 24 months, in case you come back to us.
- Customer and job records: up to 6 years after the job finishes, which covers tax, accounting and warranty or claim periods.
- Marketing preferences: until you tell us to stop.
- Website analytics data: in line with the retention settings of the analytics provider, normally no more than 26 months.
Once the time is up, we delete or anonymise the information.
How we keep it safe
We use sensible technical and practical measures to protect your information, including secure hosting, password protection and limiting who can access records. No system is completely risk free, but we take this seriously. If there is ever a breach that puts your rights at risk, we will tell you and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as the law requires.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your information, in some circumstances
- ask us to restrict how we use your information, in some circumstances

To use any of these rights, just email or write to us using the details above. We will normally reply within one month. We may need to check your identity first.
Marketing
We will only send you marketing emails or texts if you have asked for them or agreed to them. Every message will have a simple way to opt out, or you can contact us at any time. Being a customer does not mean you will be put on a marketing list.

Complaints
